Elizabeth Klinck has worked as producer, researcher and clearance specialist on numerous award-winning Canadian, American and British documentary films that have garnered Emmy, Gemini, Peabody and Academy awards. A graduate of Queen's University, Elizabeth has taught documentary research and development at Ryerson University in Toronto and has led workshops at numerous international conferences and broadcasters. Elizabeth has served as a member of the board of History Makers, FOCAL International, the Audio Visual Trust of Canada, and the Yorkton Short Film and Video Festival. She is the founding chairperson of the Visual Researchers' Society of Canada and is a member of DOC and WIFT Toronto.

Elizabeth has personally been nominated for the FOCAL International Researcher of the Year Award, a Canadian Gemini award, an Emmy award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in a Craft – Research, and in 2008 was presented with the FOCAL International Lifetime Achievement Award.
