57,000 Clips from CriticalPast's Archival Collection Now Searchable Through Footage.net

New York - June 16, 2010 - Footage.net, the stock, archival and news footage search engine, announced today that, CriticalPast one of the world's largest online resources for royalty-free, historic footage and photos, has added its entire collection of more than 57,000 clips to the Footage.net search platform.

"We're delighted to welcome this remarkable new footage company to the Footage.net family," said Footage.net president Domenick Propati. "CriticalPast brings to the footage market both an impressive collection of archival images and an innovative business model, and we're excited about presenting their footage to creative professionals around the globe."

Covering many of history's most iconic moments from 1890 through the present day, CriticalPast's entire footage library can be searched, screened and downloaded in minutes from its website. Each clip can be obtained in more than 10 image formats, depending on individual user's specific needs.

"Because our collection is 100 percent digitized, it was important for us to find a stock footage search entity that could take full advantage of this strength by providing immediate playback of any clip in our collection to prospective customers," said Jim Erickson, CriticalPast Co-Founder. "Footage.net also provides us affiliation with a level of quality and service that can only come from a brand already well known by professionals."
