LET ME KNOW HOW THAT PROGRESSES 17:42:35 COURT IN RECESS UNTIL 9 AM ====================================== The last person to speak with 17 year-old Trayvon Martin before he was killed will be back on the stand in the murder trial of George Zimmerman. During questioning from the prosecution Wednesday, 19-year-old Rachel Jeantel gave testimony that supported their view that the neighborhood watch volunteer was the aggressor. But she was also hard to hear and came across as combative when the defense had their chance to question her --repeatedly calling Jeantel a liar. Her cross-examination is expected to last a few more hours today. The judge also allowed the jury to hear several calls Zimmerman made to a nonemergency police number to report suspicious characters in his neighborhood. Prosecutors argued the calls would give jurors a window into Zimmerman's state of mind the night of the shooting, and that he was following Martin because of a growing frustration that the suspicious people he reported were "getting away."
