Ground shots and aerials of burning oil, burning storage tanks, and blasts after explosion of nitrate ship that spread to Monsanto Synthetic Rubber Plant. On second day another nitrate ship blew up and spread to other oil facilities. Part of ship was blown 1 2 mile inland. Bodies removed. Barge shown where hurled onto land. Deaths estimated to approach 700. 3000 injured. Crowd around public building. Texas Governor Chester Admiral Wainwright directs aid. Red Cross workers feeding and treating injured.
