First the magician hypnotizes the woman his two assistants place her in a wooden box then the magician saws the box in half the two halves are connected again, and the woman emerges unscathed. The film then shows how the trick is done: a cutaway shot shows the woman curling her legs up into half the box, while a false floor containing another woman opens, and she puts her feet through the end of the box
