Description The circus hits the Big Apple
Script LEAD: Just as spring arrives each year at this time, so it seems does The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus. Paul Messina was at opening night and has this report. SCRIPT: (NATSND) With clowns, acrobats, and animals, the Ringling Brothers and Barnum And Bailey Circus opened it's 127th edition Thursday night at Madison Square Garden. (MOS) He'd probably remember seeing this before. And if you're looking for the Greatest Show on Earth, you won't be disappointed. (MOS) And you might even get pulled out of the audience to be part of the show. (NATSND) (MOS) Well, let's hope Ruthie wasn't there Thursday night, 'cause there were plenty of clowns. (NATSND) The circus will be at the Garden through April 6th. And don't be shy, it's for children of all ages.
