Summary
Daytona Beach police say they are interviewing scores of people trying to find the teenager who killed a Spring Breaker late last night, shot and killed him as he was talking on a pay phone to his mother in Canada. There are no arrests yet, but there is new information tonight. This is where it happened, barely 24 hours ago, 18 year old Mark Fyke was talking on one of these pay phones, when a half dozen teenagers approached and one or them shot him dead. Police have now confirmed they did recover the murder weapon, a small black revolver, they found it right here at the scene. It is being processed, but otherwise they are proceeding with the usual footwork. The Boardwalk beat officers are on their usual patrol tonight, but with an extra mission, trying to find out if anybody saw or heard anything connected with last nights murder and handing out the composite sketch of the suspect to see if anybody might know him.
