Script (SUGGESTED TRANSCRIPT OF AUDIO) Wave underground warehouse parties have become a Southern California phenomenon, but there's a new twist now they're being held in the morning. This party crew isn't making excuses for it either. They call it a day party, but it's a ditching but it's a poor excuse not to go to school. We just come we dance and we make money off it, and it's better than being outside and gang banging. Aaron simply rented a warehouse and handed out these passes. Then he and his DJ set up an elaborate sound and light system. The $2 ahead ditch party was about to be a huge success this year to have a good time, you know, before they have the riots, they have the new curfews, you know, then the crowd of two to 300 ended up dancing all right out of here. The police, they told us they got a burglar report. And then when we saw them, we closed everything, and then they were even looking around. They're going, Oh, it's over there. It's over there. They didn't know. And then we closed it, and then they opened the gate, and, boom, everybody get out. Get out with their guns and stuff. The kids say, so many cops showed up. They must have thought massive unrest was brewing in Pico Union, probably. I mean, it is a bad day to do it. I mean, Latinos, anything could happen. Some raves are notorious for drug use, but no drugs were found here, and no one was arrested. Some dijonas, that's their term for males and detonas Ditch party females were pretty worried when our cameras showed up. Wouldn't want the school principal or the parents to see this,
