The brother of the man convicted of killing Civil Rights Leader Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. speaks out.
James Earl Ray woke up from a coma this evening. A prison spokes woman says that he has regained consiousness and knows where he is. Jerry Ray said in a interview that his brother, suffering from cirrhosis of the liver, sliped into a coma on Wednesday and was admitted to the hospital on Sunday. Ray is currently serving a 99- year sentance for the 1968 assasination of Dr. Martin Luther King. Ray confessed to the murder but has been fighting for a new trial since he recanted his statement three days later.
