Reporter Liz Miles went to Rochester, Pennsylvania to meet the one and only Fatima Yechburg...Miss Frothingslosh...herself...(Take Pkg) SCRIPT: Olde Miss Frothingslosh was crowned in 1959. Chosen on the basis of beauty, talent, poise and quantity...Marsha Majors-Phillips...aka Fatima Yechburg...has held the title ever since. And when she looks back on the body of her work...she is satisfied.(Sot)They have seen her on calendars and countless cans of beer...which have become real collector's items.(Sot)Something Miss Frothingslosh is not.(Sot(But Marsha is much like the lady she portrays. Very positive.(Sot)Marsha never tried that...but she does have go-go boots in her closet.(Sot)(Sot)Her fifteen minutes of fame as Miss Frothingslosh has stretched into thirty years. She has autographed thousands of beer cans...and a few other things.(Sot)And received poetry and gifts from her fans.(Sot)And although some might say she set herself up for ridicule posing for these pictures...Marsha has a different outlook.(Sot)(Sot) TAG: Olde Frothingslosh...also known as Iron City...will be available in 40th Anniversary collectors cans through the month of January. Then...it will disappear from the shelves and reappear in November so fans can stock up to celebrate the new century with the beer that is guarenteed to fit in any shape of glass. |
