FIRE DESTROYS A NUMBER OF HISTORIC DOWNTOWN BUILDINGS IN VENUS IN NORTH TEXAS
LEAD: THE CITY OF "VENUS" HAS LOST PART OF ITS HISTORY - AFTER A DEVASTATING FIRE BROKE OUT - IN THE 100-YEAR OLD DOWNTOWN SQUARE. THE BLAZE STARTED ABOUT THREE O'CLOCK THIS MORNING. THREE BUSINESSES WERE DESTROYED. REPORTER BRIDGET JACOBS HAS MORE ON THE FIRE AND THE DAMAGE IT LEFT BEHIND.
