A bank robbery suspect is dead after a shootout with police in Glendale, a suburb of Milwaukee. A second suspect is in custody. Glendale Police Officer Joel Dhein says the suspect was fatally shot by officers after he pulled out a gun and fired at police, who had stopped the suspects' car at a nearby intersection.Witness Chad Mateske says he was three vehicles behind the suspects' car when police converged on the intersection. He says officers shouted at the suspects to show their hands. Black, a 21-year-old Milwaukee resident.The information came in a news release late Friday from the Glendale Police Department.The suspected driver of the getaway car has been identified as 20-year-old Kenyetta Terry, according to Sgt. Amy Resnick of the Fox Point Police Department.Terry was arrested after the shootout and remains in custody while prosecutors review evidence in the case. Both the district attorney's office and the U.S. attorney's office are weighing potential charges.The robbery occurred at the Cornerstone Community Bank at 8607 N. Port Washington Road.Four police officers, two each from the River Hills and Fox Point departments, fired at Black during the encounter at N. Port Washington and W. Good Hope roads. That's where officers stopped the car that was driven away from the bank.
