Today, the largest, most expensive cruise ship ever built set sail from Istanbul. The ship is called The Grand Princess. The ship cost 450-million-dollars and is taller than the Statue of Liberty-- about 18 stories high. It is longer than three football fields and weighs about 100-thousand tons. The Grand Princess design is new to the cruise industry, with extravagant dining areas and accommodations. The Grand Princess cruise ship will be christened in New York City on September 29th.
