Video Description Black and white film, CU of a copyright notice for one of Thomas Edison's inventions. Dissolve to photo of Edison and his coworkers. The copyright is for Edison's "The Sneeze", of which we see a frame-by-frame proof sheet. A history of Edison's copyrights and record-keeping is given. At last we see "The Sneeze" (the first motion picture ever) in its entirety: 2 1/2 seconds as a man sneezes.
