THE ENVIRONMENTAL GROUP GREENPEACE IS ACCUSING THE US NAVY OF RAMMING ONE OF ITS SHIPS IN INTERNATIONAL WATERS. GREENPEACE SAYS ITS SHIP WAS CONDUCTING A NON VIOLENT PROTEST OF A TEST OF THE TRIDENT TWO MISSILE SYSTEM.
(SUGGESTED TRANSCRIPT OF AUDIO) 00:00 Booth. I'm the Executive Director of Greenpeace here in the US. 00:06 Greenpeace is an international environmental organization. People are giving contributions to our organization because they support the work that we do. Given us permission to change our course. The Navy just screwed up their zeal to stick it to Greenpeace was more important to them than the navigatable rules of the road, and it seems to me that that is just unacceptable. We clearly state our intention to involve ourselves in non violent and peaceful protest, and they failed to meet us in that regard, the
