In Scarborough, the Ontario Commissioner of Public Health reports the death of a patient from SARS at Centenary Hospital, the eighth person to die from the disease in Canada. The commission traces an outbreak to Highland Funeral Home in Scarborough and ask people to isolate themselves in case of exposure. The hospital is closed investigating another patient death.
