BOY OF 15 WINS THE GEORGE MEDAL
Title reads: "Boy of 15 wins the George Medal".

London.

C/U of teenage boy John 'Buster' Cain smoking and serving potatoes from a market street stall. C/U of 'Buster' and another man. The man congratulates 'Buster' on winning the George Medal and asks him to "tell them all about it". 'Buster' says "right-oh governor" and turns to camera. He explains how he saved three men form a bombed factory during the Blitz, and consequently won the George Medal. He finishes his story with "and then I went to have a ginger beer in a pub".

cataloguer's note: Buster's stilted speech is charming and comical - good illustration of cockneys in the war.
