WILL MAHONEY
Soundtrack is currently missing for this item.

Titles read: "Pathetone presents - WILL MAHONEY - The Famous Comedian in The Birth Of A Song".

Location of events unknown - probably Australia or New Zealand.

Brief shots of Australian or New Zealand soldiers marching along a street in some kind of night time parade. C/U of a sheet of music - "It's Up To You And Me" by Will Mahoney and Bob Geraghty. Will and Bob are seen in the studio; Bob at the piano and Will standing beside it. They seem to be working on the song. A dark-haired girl, Evie Hayes, comes in and sings the song for them while the pianist accompanies her. It looks like a rather jaunty flag waving wartime number - Will jigs about and does a Nazi salute by mistake!

The three of them stand before camera and sing; dissolve into shot of them marching along at the head of a line of Australian or New Zealand soldiers on a country road. Shots of Union Jack, French and Australian (or New Zealand?) flags are superimposed this shot at the end of the song.

Note: Will Mahoney is an American comedy dancer.
