President Roosevelt's racket-busting District Attorney Thomas Dewey is seen going up the steps as commentator explains he has accused Jimmy Hines, seen with a group of other men outside the building, of controlling the $100,000,000 lottery racket and off using his political machine to prevent the election to public office of his opponent Ferdinand Pecora. Mr Pecora, the judge, is seen walking out of the building and along the street.

Commentator calls this "the juiciest political scandal in modern American history".
