I had one, then thought I better have two and on from there," Sorenson said. "It started way back when I was 14 years old."</p>\n<p>At 14, Sorenson traded a horse for a Ford Model A. Now, at 78 years old, he's got more than 100 cars. Chevy's, Fords, Pontiacs, Oldsmobiles, Packards, AMC, you name it.</p>\n<p>The collection is now parked at the Adams County speedway and is turning into a bit of a tourist attraction.</p>\n<p>"This is one unusual collection. It's just unbelievable. It's hard to believe you can get that many cars in one spot," car enthusiast Steve Pfeiffer said.</p>\n<p>Some are in good shape and don't need much work. Others, like a 1959 Cadillac Fleetwood, with giant tail fins, are a bit worn out. But that doesn't matter. Sorenson loves to tinker, and his friends say his cars are like his babies.</p>\n<p>"They make a mess like a baby, and you got to take care of them, so we kind of refer to them as my babies and that way, I don't have to babysit quite as much," joked Sorensen.</p>\n<p>Sorensen said it's time to downsize. He'll sell most of his cars at auction. And he'll keep a few, for old times' sake.</p>\n<p>"I finally decided I can only drive one car at a time, not 150," Sorensen said.</p>\n<p>The auction is 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30 at the Adams County Racetrack Infield in Corning. The auction will be live onsite with online bidding.
