Two people were arrested in Jonesboro, Arkansas, on May 9, after a city-wide police chase involving several crashes ended with the suspect driver's truck in a ditch. Dramatic footage by Taylor Perrin shows the vehicle approaching an intersection at speed before slamming into a traffic light post, losing its trailer, and sliding off the road. The truck was able to continue, with police in pursuit. Perrin told Storyful that she was on her way to work when she saw several police cars speeding by. She stopped her car and started recording. "Right as I started recording, the truck barreled through the intersection, almost hitting a car and slamming into the stop light post as well as a few signs," she said. "The truck then takes the yield sign with it as they continue running from the police down Southwest Drive." Perrin said that she was in complete shock after witnessing the scene, and was "shaking the rest of my entire drive to work."
