X-15 rocket-powered aircraft landing, 1960s. Footage of an X-15 aircraft being tracked by a chase aircraft as it lands at Rogers Dry Lake, California, USA. The end of this clip also shows a helicopter tracking the aircraft. The X-15 was a rocket-powered research aircraft designed to fly at hypersonic speeds. Manufactured by North American Aviation, it was operated by the United States Air Force (USAF) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Three X-15s flew a total of 199 missions between 1959 and 1968. The X-15 was carried into the air by one of two converted B-52 bombers and released at high altitude. The pilot then ignited the X-15's rocket motor for a flight lasting around 10 minutes. It was the first plane to reach the edge of outer space (the highest altitude attained was 107 kilometres), and set records for the fastest manned aircraft (7,274 kilometres per hour, or Mach 6.72). The B-52 motherships took off from nearby Edwards Air Force Base.

POLICE IN CALIFORNIA CHASED A DRIVER MORE THAN 300 MILES DOWN A HIGHWAY TODAY AFTER HE SHOT AND KILLED A ``GOOD SAMARITAN.'' THE FUGITIVE WAS FINALLY SHOT TO DEATH ON A FREEWAY EXIT IN THE LOS ANGELES SUBURB OF WESTMINSTER. THE ENDING MOMENTS OF THE CHASE WERE TELECAST LIVE ON LOCAL TELEVISION BY A NEWS HELICOPTER. THE DRIVER WAS SEEN SHOOTING AT OFFICERS THROUGH THE REAR WINDOW OF HIS CAR DURING THE CHASE.

Photograpy from an airborne chase plane, on the occasion of the first powered flight of an X-15 rocket plane. A Lockheed F-104 Starfighter chase plane seen flying in the contrails of the NASA B-52 mothership (NB-52A,52-003) flown by pilots Bock and Allovie, An F-100D fighter flies slightly ahead of the B-52. The X-15, 56-6671, with Scott Crossfield, in the cockpit, is cradled under the B-52's right wing. View from the photo chase plane, as it pulls closer to the B-52. The X-15 and leading F-100 chase plane are clearly visible. The camera plane has dropped back and the X-15 releases, from the B-52 mothership, as its rocket engines simultaneously ignite. It drops and accelerates below and in front of the B-52. It stays below momentarily, without leaving a contrail. Then it accelerates and climbs rapidly out of sight. Sunlight glares as two chase planes are seen. Location: California United States USA. Date: September 17, 1959.

The male hippo jumps from beneath the pond and charges at the female chasing her around the pen and charging at her, he even tries to bite her. In the final charge he misses the female and crashes into the pond. A crowd of people are watching from the edge of the pen.

Man intercepted by motorcycle and falls into sidecar. 01:26:15:00 Little kid (Jackie Cooper) falls down stairs and tries to chase bouncing hat, kid crawls under fence and looses pants. 01:26:44:00 - Bad Boss stops worker on street, argues. Worker tells boos to knock stick off shoulder, he does, asks him to do it again, and again with increasingly bigger sticks. Fade to pile of lumber at feet of boss who is so weary from knocking them off worker's shoulder. 01:27:25:00 Man on stage gets caught on rising curtain and falls over, audience in theatre roars with laughter. 01:27:46:00: Family in open road and series of trailers takes off for California ("California or Bust" sign painted on side of truck). Man (Snub Pollard) in truck tries to play pool while moving, balls move everyone but in pockets. 01:28:33:00 - Man in trailer park steps on milk dish and splashed with milk, goes back to tent and throws pan off camera, it comes back and hits him in face. Car enters camp and is stopped by man hanging from toll booth arm, takes toll and arm goes up.
