Former President and Jimmy Carter and Rosalynn Carter were in Crested Butte, Colorado hosting the 5th annual Winter Ski Weekend. Proceeds from the event benefit The Atlanta Project (TAP), a program of the nonprofit Carter Center that seeks new solutions to inner-city problems associated with poverty in addition to several other of their international programs. Joining President and Mrs. Carter and their guests were 10 students who live in the Atlanta Project neighborhoods and are members of TAP's Future Force, a program designed to help teens develop strong leadership and life skills that can be applied to their day-to-day lives.
