Normandy Invasion is a black and white, United States Coast Guard Report number 4 film. It was probably filmed in 1944 as a report of the invasion of Normandy, France. The United States Coast Guard is a branch of the U.S. Armed Forces and has been active in every war since 1790. Their role is defense operations, maritime law enforcement, and search and rescue. During war time, they carry troops to battle. <p><p>The film opens showing a coast guard boat depositing troops on the Normandy, France shoreline (0:19-0:42). Views of the shoreline 3 days after D-Day or Operation Overlord (0:43-1:23). January 1944 – troops were trained in Chesapeake Bay, U.S.A., for the invasion (1:23-2:13). Yesterday in Southern California, a dramatic car chase, and hostage situation. The chase reached speeds of more than 100-miles per hour. We bring you reaction from the car jack suspect's family.What started out as a normal police stop of a man for reckless driving in a pickup truck turned into a two hour chase, ending only after the suspect first crashed his pickup, then car-jacked a black mini-van with the owner in it, forcing him from the vehicle while it was still moving, injuring the man when he got hung up in his shoulder strap and was dragged for a few feet by the car jacker, finally crashing the black mini-van into the highway center divider. The suspect jumped from the mini-van, jumped the highway divider, ran across traffic and was then apprehended after throwing himself to the ground as ordered to by police. The suspect's identify has not been released. He was not injured.

But here at Mission Beach with a sea lion biting a swimmer. Now, an expert says that's uncommon, a pretty normal spot for a swim. Normally harmless. He's somebody that comes down to the beach quite a bit. We know him. We're wishing him the best San Diego lifeguards say they know the 51 year old man attacked by a sea lion Friday night. The sea lion was reported to be approximately 6 ft long, took several bites out of the person and acted aggressively and then left the area when it comes to humans. Sea lions are also normally harmless back in July. This video at La Jolla Cove went wild on social media, Robin David off with the Sierra Club Seal Society and experts at seaworld say it wasn't what it looked like that sea lion was not chasing a human. What was happening back then was uh is the height of the mating season. That's very typical behavior for one male sea lion to chase another male sea lion off of the beach and out of his territories. This time though David off is surprised sea lions do bite. However many of them are, they usually only do it if they're provoked and it doesn't sound like this was the case while there are sea lions up and down the coast. Incidents at Mission Beach are not nearly as common as they are in La Jolla, but even if attacks like Friday's are a one off. Sea lions have 39 very sharp teeth. David off warns it's a good reminder for the public, especially in La Jolla Cove to keep your distance. EXT BROLL AERIALS OF A HIGH SPEED POLICE CHASE THROUGH LONG BEACH / LONG BEACH, Calif. (KABC) -- Authorities chased a suspect through freeways and surface streets in parts of Los Angeles and Orange counties before ending in a San Diego County neighborhood early Monday morning. The pursuit originated off De Soto Avenue in Woodland Hills around 4:12 a.m. when the driver was speeding and weaving erratically, authorities said. The female suspect got onto the 101 Freeway at some point and led authorities out to Long Beach, exiting near Ocean Boulevard. For a while, the suspect drove erratically through surface streets, but traveled about 60 mph or less. At times, the driver made stops in the middle of the road before speeding off again. "(She) would get up to 100 mph so it was reckless. But then she would slow down so it was bizarre," said Officer Edgar Figueroa with the California Highway Patrol. CHP officers then followed the suspect onto the 710 and 405 Freeways, heading from Long Beach out to Orange County. The suspect continued to travel at high speeds on various freeways, eventually leading CHP officers into Oceanside in San Diego County. The driver exited the freeway onto surface streets, barely missing crashing into other cars at busy intersections. Eventually the suspect drove through a residential area in Fallbrook. Officers attempted four pit maneuvers, but the woman was able to evade each one before she was finally stopped in a cul-de-sac. Authorities got out of their cars, guns drawn, and took her out of the car. She was handcuffed and taken into custody. "She might be under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and they are investigating that currently," Figueroa said. The woman's identity was not released, but authorities did say she is from Bellflower.
