The torch is making it's way through 42 states. It arrives July 12th in Atlanta, the site of the 1996 summer olympics. The torch made its way through Topeka Kansas today, where 80-year-old Dr. John Davis, an optometrist, who once coached seven international olympic teams. Included were, the 1968 games in Mexico City and 1972 in Munich.

She is the 1968 Olympic Champion in Ladies' singles and a three-time World Champion (1966–1968). Fleming has been a television commentator in figure skating for over 20 years, including several Winter Olympic Games.
