An Atlanta comedian has set up his house to be the official New Mexico Olympic Consulate. You may remember a few months back when a New Mexico resident sent in to purchase Olympic Summer Games tickets and was turned down by being told because he did not reside in a State of the Union, he was not eligible to buy tickets. After insisting he was from "New" Mexico, he was told by the seller "I don't care if it's "new," "old," or "whatever," you have to reside in the United States to qualify. Now an Atlanta stand up comedian has gone all out, capitalizing on this redneck southern behavior by decorating his whole house New Mexico style, complete with the state flag and signs about becoming a part of the Union.
