The F-B-I today added an international child pornographer to its list of ten Most Wanted fugitives.
In a press conference at F-B-I headquarters in Washington, DC, Attorney General Janet Reno called on the help of citizens the world over to apprehend Eric Franklin Rosser, a child pornographer living in Bangkok Thailand.
U-S Attorney General Janet Reno today called on citizens around the world to help apprehend the newest member of the F-B-I's Most Wanted list.
Eric Franklin Rosser, a former Bloomington Indiana resident became the first person ever placed on the F-B-I's ten most-wanted list exclusively for child pornography charges.

"For the first time the FBI is adding to its ten most wanted fugitive list an individual accused of child pornography offenses. Eric Franklin Rosser is wanted for receiving, possessing, transporting and distributing child pornography. Mr. Rosser is a professional concert and jazz pianist who ran a music school for children in Bankok."

The F-B-I says 48-year-old Eric Franklin Rosser was living in Thailand when he was indicted in March on six counts of production or distribution of child pornography.
Apprehended in March 2000, Mr. Rosser fled after being released on bail.
He was last seen in April in The Netherlands.

The FBI began to focus on Mr. Rosser after recovering vast amounts of child pornography from the residents of one of his associates in the U.S. Some of the items recovered during the course of the investigation included videotapes allegedly produced by Mr. Rosser as well as video tapes in which Mr. Rosser himself appears with young children."
