Anne Archer, Micharl Murphy, and Andrea Occhipinti are the stars in the Lifetime remake of the 1954 film, "Indiscretion of an American Wife". Shot on location in Rome this is an updated version of the 1954 film which starred Jennifer Jones and Montgomery Clift. Archer is Julia Burton, the dedicated wife of an American Deputy Chief of Mission to Italy, Russell Burton, (Murphy). Through a course of events she breaks a cardinal rule of diplomacy by having an affair with a Italian vinter (Occhipinti) who brings passion back into her life. In the end she is forced to choose between the two men she loves so differently. "INDISCRETION OF AN AMEICAN WIFE" IS DIRECTED BY GEORGE KACZENDER AND PREMIERES ON LIFETIME MARCH 9TH.
