Several miles of beach on the California coastline are shut down. The reason, a sewage pumping station near the Los Angeles County line shut down for around four hours yesterday. As much as 20-thousand gallons of raw sewage spilled into the surf. The water is expected to be off limits for at least a couple more days until bacterial levels subside.
