Big waves caused by a combination of Pacific storms and El Nino have been battering the California coast for several days. One wave was so powerful it smashed into a metro bus in Santa Cruz. The water cascaded over the bus and soaked its occupants. Heavy beach erosion and the crashing tides continue today. The waves are pounding oceanfront property along the Western seaboard. Forecasters are calling for rain.
