Canadian forces participate in exercise "Arctic Express," and setup machine gun emplacement
Canadian troops participating in NATO exercise, "Arctic Express," in 1970, in Norway, set up a light machine gun in the snow. An officer points at a target area and briefs them. Other soldiers remove snow shoes from a truck, and don them. The machine gunners move their weapon and place it in the truck. Four Canadian soldiers, carrying small arms, proceed on snow shoes, along the side of a road, followed by several more. Location: Norway. Date: March 3, 1970.
