STORYLINE:
Chocoholics descended on New York City this week for the seventh annual chocolate show.
The four-day long event, at the Metropolitan Pavillion in Manhattan, ended on Sunday.
The show is the brainchild of French entrepreneurs Sylvie Douce and Francois Jentet.
They started the first chocolate show ten years ago in Paris and then went on to launch an annual American show in New York City.
The first New York show took place in 1998 and its popularity has steadily grown, with around one hundred thousand visitors last year.
Chocolatiers from all over the world now take part in the show, making a range of chocolate delights, from fruit dipped in chocolate to chocolate covered potato chips (crisps).
There were even chocolate paintings and clothes on display.
