DOZENS OF HELMETED, BATON WIELDING OFFICERS FROM THE L-A POLICE DEPARTMENT WERE DISPATCHED TO QUELL THE DISTURBANCE THAT BEGAN BEFORE THE NOON HOUR NEAR THE GOWER STREET OFF RAMP.
