INTERNATIONAL GRAFFITI ART CONTEST (08/18/1997)
It used to be that Graffiti was simply seen as an Urban eyesore. Now through the efforts of a filmmaker, It's being elevated to an art form. Judging for the first annual International Graffiti Art competition was held Sunday in Los Angeles. Hundreds of entries from around the world were evaluated by a group of art lovers. Some of the Graffiti Art was done with simple spray paint... And other entries were on canvas. Filmmaker Bob Bryan, sponsored the competition to draw attention to Graffiti as an art form.
