Cocoa Beach, FL: Presidential Candidate, Newt Gingrich, makes bold predictions about the future of American space programs (ABC)VIDEO INFO: By the end of my second term (LOUD CHEERS) we will have the first permanent base on the Moon and it was be American." (STANDING OVATION)
"We will have commercial, near-Earth activities that include science, tourism, and manufacturing and are designed to create a robust indstury precisely on the model of the development of the Airline in the 1930s because it is in our interest to acquire so much experience in space that we clearly have a capacity that the Chinese and Russians will never come close to matching."
"And by the end of 2020 we will have the first continuous propulsion system in space capable of getting to Mars in a remarkably short time because I am sick of being told we have to be timid and I am sick of being told we have to be limited to technologies that are 50 years old.

(applause) And by the way, wait. Now, now, this is a free country and people are allowed to come & be noisy. Uh it's part of the American tradition. I just want to say for the record, I don't know that this lady wants to listen. But I will say to the rest of you for the record. If you go to the July 2008 New York Times you will see the only reference to my talking to Congress about Freddy Mac. I told the House Republicans to vote no on giving them any more money, I was opposed to them getting any more money (applause) And that is a fact. You go, you go look at, (more heckles and yelling from crowd) You've had your fun now other people now get their turn.Um, but I did cite and I challenge you go look at the New York Times what I said is factually true. (more heckles and yelling from crowd) Abraham Lincoln, Abraham Lincoln once said, "If you are debating somebody who will not agree that 2 plus 2 is 4 you will never win the debate. Because facts make no difference." (applause) We just met one of Abraham Lincoln's debating partners for whom facts make no difference. So that's fine. We understand that. Noise without knowledge is not a free society, it's anarchy. "

NNS-Romney-FL: Romney on CubaWednesday, January 25, 2012VIDEO INFO:SOT-Romney: "This president has decided to show a gift, to give a gift, to Castro. To allow remittances to come from the United States to go into Cuba and to help the economy of Cuba. He's allowed more travel into Cuba. Showing an olive branch if you will. And how has it been met? It is met with a man Wilman Villar, who must sacrifice his own life through his hunger strike with many, many people being oppressed, imprisoned. This president does not understand by helping Castro, he is not helping the people of Cuba, he is hurting them. He is not putting forward a policy of freedom, he is accommodating and encouraging a policy of repression and if I'm POTUS, we will return to Helms Burton and the law and we will not give Castro any gifts. If I'm fortunate enough to become the next POTUS, it is my expectation that Fidel Castro will finally be taken off this planet. I doubt he'll take any time in the sky. He'll find another region to be more to his comfort. And we have to be prepared. This is the time, in my opinion, in the next president's first or second term, it is time for us to strike for freedom in Cuba and I will do so as president. We must be prepared, we must be prepared to support Cuba, to support the voices for democracy in Cuba, to help them even now as they prepare for a time of transition. We must not allow another generation to suffer under the hands of oppressive rulers."

People say, 'Well what's your position on the economy? What's your position on the deficit? What's your position on all of these issues?' I can go give you a laundry list of all those things. But I think the most important thing for you to understand is how I look. It's not what I believe, it's why, I believe. You want to understand how I'm going to approach every problem? You now understand. You now understand how every problem becomes a battle. What I'm going to be for - I'm going to be for limited goverment, less power in Washington & more power to you. I'm going to be for reducing the budget; we're going to spend less money every year in Washington, if I'm the president. Every year we will reduce the deficit budget spending."Applause
SOT-SANTORUM: "Why? Because the smaller the goverment the bigger you are.
And that's my objective. But we also have to understand we have to have a society that can handle that freedom. Which means we need strong families & we need people who are well-founded & morally straight."Applause
SOT-SANTORUM: "So those are the kinds of things that are important. That we understand our leaders -- not just what they say they're for --'cause a lot of them say, 'Oh I'm for this & this & this' -- & then you find out how disappointed you are, because you don't know what's here (points to his gut)You don't know what's up here (points to his head)."SOT-SANTORUM: "But understand you're electing a leader to lead based on a core set of convictions & principles. If you understand those, if you understand who the leader is, then you have a very good understanding of where this country is going."

This is the desperate last stand of the old order throwing the kitchen sink hoping something sticks because if only they can drown us in enough mud raised with money from companies and people foreclosed on Floridians. (applause) During that entire period Mitt Romney was a money-making independent. There's nothing wrong with being money making but he had no interest in politics. He wasn't involved in helping save the country. And he was an Independent. In 1992 he gave money to Democrats for Congress, he voted in the Democratic Primary for Paul Tsongas the most liberal candidate. This is the man who stood up the other night and questioned my credentials as a Reaganite? This is the kind of gall they have to think we're so stupid and we're so timid that we'll let somebody who voted for Paul Tsongas. In 1994 he's running for the U.S. Senate to the left of Teddy Kennedy. Do you know how hard it is to run to the left of Teddy Kennedy?" The second debate he said he didn't do too well because the crowd was so loud...I think the real reason he hasn't done so well connecting with the people of Florida is that people actually saw him in those debates and listened to his background and experience and learned for instance...that he was paid 1.6 million dollars to be a lobbyist for Freddie Mac...and said that's not what we want in the White House."EDITSOT Romney: "I also think people don't realize if they want to see change in Washington...you just can't' elect the same people to take different chairs...you actually have to have new people come in and take over. I think this is a question of the course of America...you have a president that has a very different view of what America ought to look like over the coming century than what I have. His view in my opinion begins with debt...and massive spending. He is willing to spend a trillion dollars more a year than this country takes in...it's an unfathomable number...we're on track to become like Greece sometime in the next five years or so...our debt...our total debt as a percentage of the entire GDP is about 80 percent now...by the end of his first term...and his only term by the way...(cheers)...that will go from roughly 80 percent to roughly 90 percent of the GDP...we're now getting to the point where at some point...people around the world are going to stop loaning moneyto America if we don't pat them a lot more interest...and if that happens we can totally crush our economy."EDITSOT Romney: "The right course for America is to restore the principles that made us the hope of the Earth...to turn back to our respect for life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness. I will restore those principles in America...I will use all my energy and passion to keep America strong...to stand with our friends...to restore values to our families...to ensure that people have great education...great skills and the opportunity to fulfill their dreams. I love this country for what it is...for the people who are here...for its rock and rills and templed hills. I love America...and I will keep America the hope of the Earth...the strength of the Earth...and a great salvation to people who want to find freedom. This is the land...this is the place which is an exceptional land...we're not just another place with a flag...we're a place where freedom rings...I will keep it strong...keep America strong...get us back to work and keep us a shining city on the hill.LENGTH: 2:44

Tampa, FL: Mitt Romney wins the Florida primary. (ABC)
Mitt Romney tonight delivered remarks in Tampa, Florida. The followingremarks were prepared for delivery:Thank you all. To the people of Florida tonight, thank you for this greatvictory. There are fewer candidates than when the race began, but the three gentlemen left are serious and able competitors. And I congratulate them on another hard-fought contest in this campaign.Primary contests are not easy - and they're not supposed to be. As thisprimary unfolds, our opponents in the other party have been watching. They like to comfort themselves with the thought that a competitive campaign will leave us divided and weak. But I've got some news for them: A competitive primary does not divide us; it prepares us. And when we gather here in Tampa seven months from now for our convention, ours will be a united party with a winning ticket for America!
Three years ago this week, a newly elected President Obama faced the
American people and said that if he couldn't turn the economy around in three years, he'd be looking at a one-term proposition. We're here to
collect. Since then, we've had 35 months of unemployment over 8 percent. Under this President, Americans have seen more job losses and more home foreclosures than under any President in modern history. In the last ten days, I met a father who was terrified that this would bethe last night his family would sleep in the only home his son has everknown. I've met seniors who thought these would be their best years and now live day to day worried about making ends meet. I've met Hispanic entrepreneurs who thought they had achieved the American Dream and are now seeing it disappear. In his State of the Union Address, the President actually said, "Let'sremember how we got here." Don't worry, Mr. President, we remember exactly how we got here! You won the election!Leadership is about taking responsibility, not making excuses. In anotherera of American crisis, Thomas Paine is reported to have said, "Lead, follow , or get out of the way." Mr. President, you were elected to lead, you chose to follow, and now it's time for you to get out of the way!I stand ready to lead this Party and our nation. As a man who has spent his life outside Washington, I know what it is like to start a business. I know how extraordinarily difficult it is to build something from nothing. I know how government kills jobs and, yes, how it can help.My leadership helped build businesses from scratch. My leadership helped save the Olympics from scandal and give our athletes the chance to make us all proud. My leadership cut taxes 19 times and cast over 800 vetoes. We balanced every budget, and we kept our schools first among fifty states. My leadership will end the Obama era and begin a new era of American prosperity!
Together, we will build an America where "hope" is a new job with a paycheck , not a faded word on an old bumper sticker. This election, let's fight for the America we love. We believe in America. Thank you. And God bless America.

Orlando, FL: Newt Gingrich concedes Florida but vows to stay
in the race. (ABC)
I want to thank Floridians. Callista and I have talked about this and everybody here has been so positive in every part of the state. That we just thank all you for the hospitality and the kindness. Thank the well over half million Floridians who voted for us. I think Florida did something important coming on top of South Carolina. It is now clear that will be a 2 person race between the conservative leader Newt Gingrich and the Massachusetts moderate. - CHEERS - And the voters of Florida really made that clear. Now you'll notice that a number of folks are holding up a sign about "46 states to go" -CHEERS-. We did this in part for the elite media because the same people that said I was dead in June and July, and said I was gone after Iowa who seemed totally quiet the night of the SC victory are going to go back saying "what's he going to do, what's he going to do, what's he going to do?" I just want to reassure them tonight that. we are going to contest every state and we will win and we will be the nominee in Tampa as the nominee in August. Now you might ask in the face of a 5-1 onslaught how that can that be true? And I will give you the answer. It was stated at a historic moment 1893 in dedicating our first national military cemetery by president of the US Abraham Lincoln who said we have government of the people by the people, for the people. And we're going to have people power defeat money power in the next 6 monthsyou might say how are we going to do that? Well same way we came back in June July and by December we're ahead in the gallant polls by well over 13 points and no money. It turned out that if you had ideas and solutions, and you're positive and you can communicate a better future and if you have a history of actually doing something in the past the combination begins to reach the American people. So let me talk briefly about what this is going to be about. This is the most important election of your lifetime. If barrack Obama gets elected it will be a disaster for the United States of America make no bones about it. If he can have a record this bad, unemployment this bad, deficits this bad, policies this bad, gasoline prices this high and still get reelected you can't imagine how radical he'll be in his second term. So designing and putting together. a peoples campaign, not a republican campaign, not an establishment campaign, not a Wall Street funded campaign a peoples campaign and saying to every American of every background and everything ethnic group and every community. We have a future of better future for you and your family. It's a future of jobs, a future of lower gasoline prices, it's a future of a balanced budget, it's a future of a smaller Washington and a future of more power back to you and your family and your neighborhood. This is a future we ask you to join us in imposing on the establishment in Washington and imposing it on both parties.

West (POOL)
LENGTH: 3:20
Las Vegas, NEVADA - Rick Santorum was far away from Florida Tuesday night, learning the results from that primary here in Nevada, one of several western states he is now staking his campaign.
If there is one message that I think we got from the campaign in Florida, it's that republicans can do better. We can do better than the discussion, and the dialogue and the accusations that were going on in the state of Florida and really this campaign went downhill.
I went to Florida, and participated in the debates, and I think we did a pretty good job in those debates (cheers) and while we didn't get into the melee of the negativeness, as I said at that debate in Jacksonville on Thursday night, the American public does not want to see two or three candidates get into a mud wrestling match, where everybody walks away dirty and not in a position to represent our party proudly. We're gonna have differences on the issues, and we need to talk about those differences on the issues, but what we saw in the last few weeks in the state of Florida, is not something that's going to help us win this election.
I'll say it again, Governor Romney you have every right to go into the private sector and use the gifts that god has given you and the opportunities that you had and made for yourself with your hard work and make all the money that you can and do it in a way that helps your economy and certainly helps you and your family. And I'm not going to criticize you for that because that's how capitalism works and I'm all for it (cheers).
And speaker Gingrich, you went out and you took the talents that you have that are considerable and you took the effort and the hard work and the knowledge and the experience you got from working at the highest levels of government and went out and worked with companies that had concerns about a government that was trying to run over them in many cases, and there is nothing wrong with that and I congratulate you for the work that you did in support of those companies that deserve representation as they are entitled to under the first amendment of our constitution, and I'm not going to criticize you for that, all right? (applause)
But let's put those issues behind us and let's focus on the real issue, which is defeating barack Obama in the next election (cheers)
And we're not gonna do that by mudslinging, we're gonna do it by talking about the issues that people at their kitchen tables are talking about. They are talking about their homes that are being foreclosed on, they are talking about jobs that are not available, or the promotions that are not available or the opportunities to be able to start a business without the government breathing down their neck, that's what people want to hear about and they want to know what your plans are, and they want to know how you contrast yourself with president Obama when it comes to that. Well that's what this campaign has been about for me and that's what it's going to be about.
Tomorrow we're gonna give a speech on Romneycare and obamacare (cheers). We're gonna talk about the issues that are important to the people of Nevada, important to the people of Colorado Minnesota, and Missouri, the states that are up next in this next go-around next week,

NS-Ron Paul-Nevada V:Reax to Florida PrimaryTuesday, January 31, 2012 SOT Ron Paul: "Now and we will spend our time in the caucus states because if, if you have an irate tireless minority you do very well in the caucus states
But there's something else that the caucus states lends itself to. Because if you have an energized group of people that are working in a campaign and actually believe in something, it's better work in the caucus states."EDITSOT Ron Paul: "There's a mess up in Washington and they've created a mess, they have a lousy foreign policy, they've given us a lousy budget, and they ve given us a lousy recession, but where the wonderful thing is happening is in the grass roots. People are beginning to realize that the problem is too much government we need more personal liberty"EDITSOT Ron Paul: "We don't need to have more government we need to get rid of the ornery process of the government. For instance don't you think it's about time we had a new monetary policy.?"
EDIT
SOT Ron Paul:" And would we have to invent something new? All we'd have to do is read the Constitution. They tell us exactly what we're suppose to have."EDI
SOT Ron Paul: "We don't need to be the policemen of the world. And very, very simply we should reject and not get engaged in anymore wars that aren't declared properly and supported by the people"
EDIT
SOT Ron Paul: "Very simply, very simply it means bringing our troops home and stopping all the undeclared, unwinnable wars."EDITSOT Ron Paul: "So it's a cost of life and limb but there's an economic cost as well and the American people are tired of it. And they know they are ready because this country in bankrupt. All great nations go down because they overextend themselves overseas. So I would say it's time for us to wake up, don't wait for an economic crisis to hit when we have to come wimping home.We ought to just wise up, spend our money wisely, defend this country, and don't pretend we can tell other people how to live."
