The Movie Selena premiers in Corpus Christi, Texas tonight and hundreds of fans were there to celebrate. The cast was on hand for the premiere to wave to the fans and bask in the glow of their production. The movie Selena is based on the life of a popular Mexican-American singer who was about to make into the big time when a deranged fan shot her. Needless to say even though she is dead her popularity is still strong with Mexican-Americans.
