Sot (L-R) Marlon Wayans and Keenen Ivory Wayans - "SOT Marlo - "I felt that when Shorty's character... he was roled up and smoked himself... when the chronic plant smoked him, he grew because the burning of his hair symbolised a new growth for Shorty. So Shorty is in a new place and land in his life now and a whole new creative piece." SOT Keenan - "I feel like Ray's character, him as a person and a lover he grew, with the clown scene. boy gets girl, boy loses girl, boy gets clown." 3. Clip - Scary Movie 2 4. Sot Anna Faris - on the success of Scary Movie 1 - "Will Major called me and he said the movie made 15.5 million last night, I had no idea what that meant and so I was like oh that's cool. He was like no you don't understand what this means. It was really cool and exciting." 5. Clip Scary Movie 2 6. Sot Chris Elliot - "It's not a fun business, it's a horrible business, the process of acting is fun. I enjoy being on the set and playing around and doing comedies and getting paid for it. The actual business isn't something I would recommend to anybody to join, it's a lowsey business." 7. Clip Scar Movie 2 8. SOT Question - "What would you say to people that came out of the film and said golly I had a great time." Sot Keenen Ivory Wayans - "I would say you selfish bastard." SOT Marlon - "Who the hell do you think you are I don't make movies for those people to go and enjoy themselves and spend their money on some popcorn movie on July the 4th... it's a deep movie... we are artists, hello, we're artists." 9. Clip Scary Movie 2 THE WAYANS BROTHERS GIVE US SCARY MOVIE TWO The developing solution was barely dry on the print for Scary Movie (one) when the brothers Wayans were invited by their bosses, the brothers Weinstein, to make a sequel - to a movie they had promoted as "No Mercy. No Shame. No Sequel." The brothers Weinstein (Harvey and Bob) turned out to be right, of course, as Scary Movie (one) went on to take $157million at the box office, enough to render most promises worthless. "Still No Mercy. Much more shameless. And, obviously, we lied", star and co-writer Marlon Wayans says of Scary Movie 2, which was conceived and written in just 6 months. A year ago the cast of Scary Movie were minor stars promoting a little movie that was a parody of a spoof. Now they're fully fledged megastars responsible for one of the most lucrative film franchises ever, and that's before the sequel has taken a penny. This time round, oscar nominated star James Woods (Ghosts of Mississippi, Salvador), Tori Spelling (Scream 2), and Tim Curry (The Rocky Horror Picture Show) to join the established cast of Wayans brothers (Shawn, Marlon and the traditional cameo from directing older brother Keenen Ivory), Anna Faris and Regina Hall. Wood says he jumped at the chance to work on the film, in the role of "Priest", after Marlon Brando had to pass on the role. Tori Spelling plays an obsessed stalker, Alex, in the film and says she felt a great deal of pressure about doing the film. Canadian Actress Kathleen Robertson plays the sexually over-liberated "Theo" in Scary Movie 2. Director Keenen Ivory Wayans arrived on the red carpet flanked by his two brothers, Marlon and Shawn who co-wrote Scary Movie 2. The Wayan's Brothers are a close knit team - Marlon and Shawn co-write the screenplay and star in the film, while Keenen Ivory Wayans directs. They spent weeks locked up in a luxury mansion watching videos of horror films for inspiration. Keenen Ivory Wayans says the idea for the sequel began when he realized that many supernatural films are filled with the same cliched moments all begging to be parodied. Keenen is credited with recognizing the talents of comedian Jim Carey and Actress-singer Jennifer Lopez, whom he cast in his first television series "In Living Color" in 1989. Ana Faris was a star of the original Scary Movie, and reprises the role of Cindy in the sequel. Again, she finds herself in a hilarious and haunting situation. "It was incredible, incredible," says the star. "I was just so thrilled to be a part of something that was so well received. I mean people either loved it or hated it. But so many people loved it, which is incredible for me, and it's been, just such an honor." The main target of Scary Movie 2 is The Exorcist, and Natasha Lyonne gets to spoof Regan MacNeil, the possessed girl played by Linda Blair. But Lyonne says you'll have to wait to see her favorite part of the movie. Returning as the same clueless teens from the first film Marlon, Shawn, Faris and Hall have this time convinced their professor (Curry) to take them on a school trip to a haunted house. While there they get spooked by a creepy caretaker (Elliott) and scariest of all, Tori Spelling's as the crazed stalker Alex. Like the first film, Scary Movie 2 is packed with gags at the expense of other films. As well as the Exorcist, What Lies Beneath, Mission Impossible, Cast Away and even Hannibal find themselves targeted by the brothers. The brother's Wayan's and Weinstein are obviously hoping the movie will do as well as the first, but not all the critics feel the same way: ""We can only pray that this time around, the box office will be poor enough to discourage a Scary Movie III". The film opened in the USA on July 4th. FILM CLIP DETAILS Scary Movie 2 DIMENSION FILMS 212 941 3800

And in this we decided to turn it into a low rider, so I got these switches, and I was on it harnessed into a babyseat which my taut rear end was able to fit into, buckled into this child seat. I was going, check the switches but that's been cut. That will be on the DVD. That was a good time though." 22.Film Clip, please credit Dimension Films SOURCE: APTN/ Dimension Films /Clients - please give onscreen credit to Dimension Films for film clips WILL THERE BE SCREAMS OF LAUGHTER IN SCARY MOVIE 2 ================================================== The developing solution was barely dry on the print for Scary Movie (one) when the brothers Wayans were invited by their bosses, the brothers Weinstein, to make a sequel - to a movie they had promoted as "No Mercy. No Shame. No Sequel." "Still No Mercy. Much more shameless. And, obviously, we lied", star and co-writer Marlon Wayans says of Scary Movie 2, which was conceived and written in just 6 months. Almost exactly a year after the opening of the first one (7th July 2000) last night saw the Los Angeles premiere of the Scary Movie 2 . A year ago the cast were minor stars promoting a little movie that was a parody of a spoof. Now they're fully fledged megastars responsible for one of the most lucrative film franchises ever, and that's before the sequel has taken a penny. So it can't have been hard to attract the likes of Oscar-nominated actor James Woods, Tori Spelling, Rocky Horror Picture Show star Tim Curry to join the established cast of Wayans (Shawn, Marlon and the traditional cameo from directing older brother Keenen Ivory), Anna Faris and Regina Hall. In fact, Woods says he jumped at the chance to work on the film, in the role of "Priest", after Marlon Brando had to pass on the role. While Woods was excited at the prospect, his agent had some cautionary words for the actor. "There's one scene in it as you know the Amityville Horror little spoof, you know," says Woods. Canadian Actress Kathleen Robertson plays the sexually over-liberated "Theo" in Scary Movie 2. She says working with the Wayans brothers was an experience: "They're totally nuts and they're so sweet and really smart and they're really crazy and funny, but they're also like really sweet, sensitive like cool people. You know and they're all really different. They're great. So I'm really very privileged and fortunate to have worked on the movie. And I liked the first one too, it's just so crazy." Director Keenen Ivory Wayans arrived on the red carpet flanked by his two brothers, Marlon and Shawn who co-wrote Scary Movie 2.
