Brahminy kite (Haliastur indus) in cage and calling. This is a medium-sized bird of prey commonly found along coastlines, in mangrove swamps, and in estuaries across the Indian subcontinent, Southeast Asia, and Australia. It is characterised by its reddish-brown body plumage, which contrasts with its white head and breast. The Brahminy kite primarily feeds on dead fish and other types of prey. Filmed in a rehabilitation centre in Kinabatangan, Sabah, Borneo, Malaysia.
