Antrochoanal polyp, CT scan
Coloured computed tomography (CT) scan moving from the base to the top of the head of a patient with an antrochoanal polyp affecting their right nostril. This a benign (non-cancerous) growth on the maxillary sinus, behind the nose. It can cause obstruction of the airways, discomfort, and continual discharge of thin mucus (rhinorrhoea). Treatment is typically surgical removal.
