THE FACILITY IS LOCATED ON 148TH STREET JUST OFF THE J-F-K EXPRESSWAY, AND IS SET UP JUST LIKE A GIANT DISPATCH UNIT. CAB DRIVERS ARE WORRIED THAT THE NEW SYSTEM WILL CUT DOWN ON THEIR TIPS. THE PROJECT WAS DELAYED AFTER A CONSTRUCTION MISTAKE FORCED WORKERS TO RIP UP PART OF THE AREA AND START ALL OVER AGAIN. THAT JACKED UP THE FINAL COST OF THE PROJECT TO 5-POINT-FOUR-MILLION-DOLLARS.
