POLICE HIGH SPEED CHASE
A WANTED CRIMINAL LEAD OKLAHOMA LAW OFFICERS ON A CHASE TODAY THAT ENDED WITH THE SUSPECT CRASHING INTO A PATROL CAR. POLICE SAY THE CHASE BEGAN ABOUT 2 PM WHEN A CAR DRIVEN BY GARY CRAWFORD WAS CLOCKED DOING 62 IN A 35 MILES PER HOUR ZONE. POLICE SAY CRAWFORD TOOK OFF AND LEAD OFFICERS ON A 95 MILE AN HOUR CHASE THAT SAW A NUMBER OF CARS FORCED OFF THE ROAD. AS MANY AS 7 PATROL CARS WERE INVOLVED IN THE CHASE. IT ENDED WHEN CRAWFORD'S CAR RAMMED A PATROL CAR DRIVEN BY OKLAHOMA HIGHWAY PATROL TROOPER GARY VINSON. NEITHER MAN WAS SERIOUSLY INJURED IN THE SPECTACULAR CRASH.
