Keiko to Iceland (09/02/1998)
Keiko, the beloved whale star of the hit movie "Free Willy," is about to start his historic voyage home. With the help of the Free Willy, Keiko Foundation, United Parcel Service and the U.S. Air Force, Keiko will be relocated September 9th from his current home in Oregon to a floating pen in his native Icelandic waters. There, he will begin the next chapter of his rehabilitation -- and his life. Shortly after Keiko made his big screen debut, children around the world learned Keiko was suffering from some serious health problems. As a result of their concern, the Free Willy Keiko Foundation was formed to help the orca.
