WORKERS AT WOMEN'S CLINICS IN LOUISIANA REACT TO THE STATE'S TOUGH NEW ABORTION LAW. ABORTIONS WERE PERFORMED AS SCHEDULED IN LOUISIANA TODAY EVEN AS PHONE CALLS FROM ANXIOUS WOMEN FLOODED CLINICS THE DAY AFTER THE LEGISLATURE ENACTED THE NATION'S TOUGHEST ABORTION LAW. LOUISIANA LEGISLATORS PASSED THE LAW YESTERDAY, OVERRIDING GOV. BUDDY ROEMER'S VETO.
