Back in 1954 at the Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, NJ where engineers and scientists discussed (6:33). Antennas around the country receive signals that are flashed from point to point (6:54). Satellite in space (animation) makes towers connect more practically (7:25). Andover, ME, telephone service man works (7:49). Man with a chainsaw takes down some trees (8:17).
