While running away from his girlfriend's father, their car breaks down in front of a dance hall run by crooks. Harold Lloyd has to not only stay one step ahead of the girl's father, but also those trying to rob them of everything they have. These star-crossed lovers encounter it all - thieves, violent bouncers, angry waiters, greedy prostitutes, the cops, and Bebe's dad Bud Jamison. Then again, maybe Harold can win daddy over to their side after all. That just leaves everyone else...
