The family are dancing in the living room to "All the kings horses". Mr Bartholomew goes to chat to Mr Donut in the study. Mr Donut is very troubled. When he was a little boy he did a great wrong which still haunts him - he stole his jumping jack. He thinks the boy may have died. <br/>They go to join the family in the livingroom. Mr Donut and Mr Fruitcake realise that they are the little boys (now grown up) that they are each looking for. Confusion and relief. They continue the cabaret: Mr Donut does somersaults and Mr Fruitcake sings "Ivory Gate". Cut to children dressed as nymphs dancing in a garden with the title: "Share in the joys so long been denied oh God hath created for all". Mr Fruitcake says he has come to the end of his wanderings and leaves. As he goes the family see a ghost like figure of a little boy.
