TWO MEN WERE KILLED WHEN THE VOLKSWAGEN BEETLE THEY WERE RIDING IN WAS HIT BY ANOTHER CAR. THE MEN WERE IDENTIFIED AS WILLIAM KLEIN AND CHARLES SEPPALA. THE VW BUG THEY WERE RIDING IN WAS TRAVELING DOWN THE STREET WHEN IT WAS STRUCK IN THE SIDE BY A THUNDERBIRD DRIVEN BY ALLAN EKEBERG. WITNESSES REPORTED THAT EKEBERG’S CAR FAILED TO STOP FOR A STOP SIGN.
