Heavy fog blanketed the Los Angeles area this morning making driving hazardous and wreaking havoc with air travel. The National Weather Service had to warn drivers to use extra caution, low beam headlights and leave extra space between vehicles. The fog rolled in late yesterday afternoon and Los Angeles International Airport immediately felt the impact, halting flights for a couple of hours.
