(L-R Treach, Vinnie Brown)
1. Music clip - 'Feels Good' (Don't Worry Bout A Thing)
2. SOT Treach - "Like I said it's a blessing because you know it's like; it's very basically unheard of. You know the hip hop, they've been in the game this long and they've come back out and you can still get a number one, you know what I mean, and the people are still receptive to you, and still like ok they're not fossils or has been's."
3. Music clip - 'Feels Good' (Don't Worry Bout A Thing)
4. SOT Treach - "Man, we got dropped off our last deal without a phone call, you know what I mean, the last member of the group, the other member that was here just quit in the middle of the album; we heard through the press that he quit. I go through a divorce, my best friend got murdered, I mean all this was like at the same time so, I mean that, that was all going on, I think that made us as Naughty stronger, us knowing that we are the only ones left, we're the last ones here, we're here for each other and the bottom line is that we don't do it or give up, hey we're just left for dead and we're gonna be right in the position they wanted us to be in."
5. Music clip - 'Feels Good' (Don't Worry Bout A Thing)
6. SOT Vinnie Brown - "The formula is the collar response, party anthem, sing-a-long, all inclusive, generation, cultural, intervention type music and that's what we do you know?"
7. EPK clip
8. SOT Treach - "Icons, well that was bestowed to us by the fans, by you know Demoir here and the local radio station and we came in one time and it was like, "Ladies and gentlemen, we have icons that just walked in the building", you know and through that and through the stuff on the EPK that we were watching our fans saying stuff, Icons was a word that kept coming up; so Vin was like, "Yo, this word is really sticking to me," and I'm like let me find out what it means, let's go to the dictionary and really see. And then when we'd seen it we were like, "Yo, let's go with this one." If we can't say we're icons, who can in hip hop?"
9. 'Feels Good' (Don't Worry Bout A Thing)
10. SOT Vinnie Brown - "We're just good down to earth people, you know, we've been blessed with a bunch of success, sold millions records, made millions of dollars but you can still catch us walking down the street by ourselves you know. You can catch us in the local Seven- Eleven, and it's people these days, that's one of the best things I like most about it, I walk down the street and somebody say "Hey Vin," just like I'm an everyday neighbour, you know it's not necessarily a whole great big star struck thing all the time you know, so that's one good thing about it."
SOT Treach - "We really strike as you know people you could touch, I mean the people always say, "Real reconise real," so they know it's not phoney or nothing like that."
11. 'Feels Good' (Don't Worry Bout A Thing)
HIP HOP ICONS FEELING GOOD
Hip-hop is notorious for short-lived careers, big singles, and one-hit wonders, Naughty By Nature, however, is the exception.
Since the early '90's, Naughty By Nature (NBN) has created chart-topping party anthems that have dominated Rap, Pop, and R&B charts, all the while staying true to hip-hop.
Now their long-awaited album iicons, debuted at #15 on Billboard's Top 200 chart this week. iicons is also #2 on the rap chart and #5 on the R&B chart. Meanwhile, 'Feels Good' (feat. 3LW) holds strong as #1 Rap single in the country and #3 single overall!
The group exploded on the scene during the summer of 1991 with 'O.P.P.' and 'Everything's Gonna Be Alright' from their self-titled debut, Naughty by Nature.
Their second album, 19 Naughty III (1993) featured another crossover smash, 'Hip Hop Hooray,' which rivaled 'O.P.P.' as the national catchphrase of the early '90s.
Their previously released albums: 'Naughty By Nature' (1991 - platinum), '19 Naughty III' (1993 - platinum), 'Poverty's Paradise' (1995 - gold), and '19 Naughty IX: Nature's Fury' (1999 - gold) has sold over 4 million copies combined.
After a two-year hiatus and in their tenth year as NBN, the international superstars are back and ready to make fans 'feel good' again with their new album, 'iicons'.
Taking on board a whole new stable of producers, the new album promises to deliver fresh party anthems such as 'Feels Good', the adrenaline fuelled 'Rock N' Roll' and sing along 'Swing Swang' and Red Light' which features the voice of Queen Latifah.
The album also includes the distinctive vocals of Pink on the cheeky track, 'What U Wanna Do' and the mellow R&B tones of Carl Thomas on 'Naughty By Nature'
And if being an international music superstar isn't enough, the boys from Naughty by Nature still find time to pursue other interests.
Vinnie does his bit for charity, running a scheme in his home town of East Orange called 'The Block' which provides a forum for local kids to talk about their problems. He is also involved in various other charity projects concerned with urban renewal and after school programmes.
Whilst Vinnie comes over all worthy, his co-star Treach takes on Tinseltown. In addition to his lyrical skills and modeling career, NBN's Treach has emerged as one of Hollywood's favorite young actors. After achieving success on the small screen, Treach turned his hand to movies. He has several forthcoming movie releases including 'Empire' with John Leguizamo, and the Spike Lee-produced '3 A.M.' with Danny Glover.
