The two thousand pound (907 kilos) animal wandered down the railway line and into a residential neighbourhood, terrifying residents, including one family that was sitting outside having a picnic. The bull's big day out lasted an hour and half and included a break under some shady trees. Local county animal control officers tried and failed several times to catch the animal using a rope, but in the end decided to shoot it with a tranquiliser dart.
